Wisconsin wildlife

Since we've been here I have seen a couple of deer, a turkey, a couple of rabbits cavorting on Krissy's lawn, and several species of birds; robins, blue birds, starlings, crows, buzzards, cranes, and a woodpecker. Not to mention bugs. There are these little ant hills everywhere.
Tim has been semi-busy building things. He's pretty much got the goat stanchion finished and the goat pen done (just needs the gate). Kris' chicken coop is coming along - we were putting chicken wire up on it and I smashed my finger pretty good with the hammer. I've got a purple fingernail now and will probably lose it.
Tomorrow he puts up the nesting boxes and roosting perches. Kris will finish the chicken wire - I don't think I'll be doing anymore hammering. After that we are going into town to buy fence posts and wire to make the outdoor goat pen.

PS Kris has beautiful lilac bushes.

Sounds like you had a busy day, I lost a fingernail a couple of times because of smashing my finger in the car door and in the garage door when I was young. It really hurts.

It sounds like your Friday was busy, busy. Sorry about smashing your finger...that's something like I would do.

Have fun on Saturday!
