Little Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail...

I attended a baby shower yesterday - I bought some items from the mom's wish list at Burlingtons but wanted to do something personal also.  She didn't have a theme for the nursery yet, so I thought bunnies would be nice.  I noticed that she liked green, brown and pink together so thought this green picture would go well in her nursery.  This is from a pattern that I adapted - it was for Easter and had Easter eggs in the wheelbarrow and along the ground so I pulled them out and put in a baby bunny.

In other news, the windstorm we had a few days ago resulted in power outages for many in Anchorage.  Some of my friends didn't get electricity back on until last night.  That storm brought snow to our mountains - winter is not too far away!  We had hail yesterday evening and then the first frost last night.  I do believe summer is officially over.

I absolutely love this picture. I could see that wheelbarrow full of flowers for someone that loves bunnies...like me. ;) It has been cool here too. Nothing like your temps but it feels like autumn here now. It will warm up again though. Glad you have power. Nothing worse than sitting in the dark and being cold. I hope you have your new help at work broke in. Cheers.

Beautiful Baby Gift! Been missing you on "Drawing in Church"
We are just starting to enjoy our less humid/hot weather and getting ready for fall colors. It gets cold in AK really quick :-(
Hope U can get back to your art and enjoy it!
