Rocking Horse scherenschnitte

I cut this from a pattern while at the cabin last weekend.  I plan to write the baby's name in the little banner area at the top and possibly date of birth if there is enough room.  It's for a lady at my church who recently had a new baby boy.  I would tell you his name, but I can't remember it at the moment!

It seems like I haven't had much time for any art lately.  I've been working long hours and also taking care of a friend's 3 dogs and 1 cat while they are away for a week.  I've been going over before work, during my lunch break and then again in the evening.  They only live about 10 minutes from me, but it certainly cuts into your free time!

Simply beautiful. It boggles my mind that you can do this. And you had to separate horse head from body too. Wow.

Lovely work. I don't know how you do this.. I don't have this kind of patience. :) We too have been critter sitting. We were doing it for two different neighbors for a day too.. wow.. talk about busy. :))

This is so beautiful. You know summer is so short you have to take advantage if you can. Animals are always a problem. I leave them at home when it's hot and take them when it cools off because we like to eat in a restaurant and it is impossible to leave a dog in a car when its hot. In winter they curl up and sleep.

This "Art" is amazing--lovely that you are talented to do it :-) I love the wildlife at your Cabin and also the "Wildflowers" that grow around it. I thought our Roadside wildflowers were great!?
Glad to see you back in the "swing of things".
