Snow and more snow

Taz likes the new snow!

We awoke to snow coming down and it continued until about 11:00 am. We got about 3 inches but it has already melted off the roads. If it dips below freezing at night, which I'm guessing it will, it will be very slick in the morning. The weather forecast is for more snow/rain for the next few days.

I spent time in a local elementary school today reading my book, Song of the Raven, to three classes of 2nd/3rd grade students. It was so much fun. After reading the story I talked about my process with writing, illustrating and publishing of that book and my other book Carina.

I really like kids that age - they were very interested and asked lots of questions....I got asked twice how old I am. That seems to be a theme in my life this past month! There are lots of aspiring artists and authors out there and I was honored to meet about 60 of them today!

And still it snows...!! Sounds like fun reading your book to the children - I didn't know you had written one - that's fantastic!

You are an inspiration to many Patty. It must feel good... despite the snow.

if I see one more snowflake this year I may kill myself!!

Taz looks very happy though!

Good for you for reading your book to the kids. I remember doing the school tours when mine came out. Of of my favorite questions was "Are you wicked famous, or what?" hahaha!
