It's official

I have officially paid over $4 for a gallon of gas. Last night I put $20 in my tank and it only got HALF full. I used to be able to fill it up for $23. Gas is now $4.029 per gallon at my local Chevron.

It's official! Snow! Yes, we got an inch of snow last night. I know it will melt soon, but it's still discouraging. We're supposed to be getting LESS this time of year, not MORE.

I can officially do TWO push-ups. I have witnesses. That's pretty pitiful. I was challenged by the boys at Kid's Kitchen. First I timed them for 90 seconds to see how many they could do. None of them could do 90 seconds, but one did 30 push-ups. After my pitiful attempt, one of the boys said "That's ok, you're old!" Thank you young man. I didn't know.

It's official. I'm old. I received my "welcome" to AARP - for those of you who don't know, that stands for American Association of Retired Persons. Here's their slogan: We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that helps people 50 and over improve the quality of their lives. I've got a major milestone birthday coming up....who let AARP know? I was trying to fly under the radar for a bit longer!

This post made me chuckle - "Thank you young man. I didn't know." Haha! I love that you were willing to get in there and participate with the kids:)

Yikes, I suppose that price for gas will be right around the corner here in WI.

It's funny how things get mailed to us and you wonder who informed them about....

lol Yup it's OFFICIAL
Keeping up with kids is a lot more fun though.
As for gas woah I think keeping a car is extremely expensive these days. and its not just gas its the insurance and upkeep as well.

You will have to get your bike out when it finally warms up and ride to work again to save $$. I plan to do the same thing. I hate paying such high prices for gas. I am afraid it will be a fact of life from now on. I don't think I could do "1" push up. You are way ahead of me. Of course I am ahead of you in birthdays. That is ok. 50 is a good decade for me. I hope it is for you.

It's a beautiful world after all.
If only people stopped fighting and began to enjoy it.

$4.30 here as of yesterday AM... Patty... it's way worse when Medicare sends you that card @ age 65... I was amazed to see it and then it had my name on it! Why? I asked... and then P dot pointed out to me what my age really was ... not the age I kept telling people... he thought it all quite humorous ... not me !!!! push-up? I can't do many but we did 190 crunches in rehab the other day ... in sets of ten...
