Kids' Kitchen

I made it to the Kid's Kitchen again yesterday. I taught about 20 children how to zentangle in the round. I brought a bunch of old printer paper that has been sitting around my office for more than 12 years (the kind with the pin holes down both sides), a bunch of pens and then pulled some bowls from the kitchen for them to trace around. Most of the kids had a lot of fun and were busy for about 45 minutes filling in all the parts with different patterns.

I had a great time and I hope the kids did too. It's fun to see kids get excited and interested in the same things you enjoy doing. I thought about taking pictures but didn't since I don't know these kids very well and I don't know their parents at all. I may take some pictures of their artwork next time though.

Very good Patty. Those kids probably needed some entertainment. You taught them something they can do with few supplies.

It is a blessing to be able to spend time with kids. I think kids are just about the greatest thing and I feel soo sorry for Moms who are not there to watch them grow. They miss so many precious moments.
