Autumn Oak

I painted this for Uncle Jack. He's on the farm across the road from where we bought our property. He loves his trees so I thought this might be a nice picture for him. While I was down there and painting leaves, he would pick leaves for me to paint. Pretty soon I had a whole pile of beautiful colored leaves but no time to paint them all.

I'm working on a chicken paper-cutting for Aunt Donna. Then I can get their gifts off in the mail...I'm kind of cutting it close with making presents, but that's me!

Aunt Donna is such a Dear One!!!! I have such treasured memories from childhood of her laughter, hugs and warmth. I'm sure she will love the paper cutting. The tree is lovely!

Very nicely done Akelamalu.I am sure he will love it and I think a personal gift like this is the best gift of all.
I also love to pick leaves.
In my yard they are soo huge. About a foot long and 10 inches wide.
