Successful Day

Yesterday was sad. Today was busy and successful. I signed up for a fall craft bazaar to sell my books and wildlife cards. I did pretty good. I don't think the crowds were there, but there was enough people coming in and out to make a profit. I'm guessing it's a wee bit early for folks to be buying Christmas presents already. I bet November is better.

I missed my sisters. My sisters Kris and Alicia used to do craft bazaars with me - Kris sold cakes in a jar (delicious), Alicia sold handmade Christmas angel ornaments and fudge, and I sold books and cards. Even when we weren't selling, we had fun just sitting, visiting and people watching. Today Alicia dropped by but couldn't stay for long and Kris moved to WI two years ago. I think it should be against the law for sisters to grow up and move away....they should stay close forever.

Alicia is flying to WI tonight to go visit Kris. They are going to have tons of fun without me!

Sorry that I was a law breaker! We did have some fun times at the craft things.

Can't you just fly there as well and be part of the fun?
Good you had this day to take your mind of the sad events which happened lately.
And yes I agree with you about the law!

My sisters and I never did things together. Not like that anyway. I wish we had the deep sista-thing going on! We do love each other but we're all so different.

I'm glad you did well at the show. Your sisters were there in spirit ;)

Glad to hear you did well at the show. I think it's always funner/better to have a partner when doing those shows.

Why don't you hop a plane and surprise both your sisters with a visit.

So sorry that you had to say goodbye to Mary Ann.

Maybe you can come visit Krissy. I miss my sister's sometimes too. We don't get together as much as we used to.

That is one of the things that is wrong with our society today. We are just tooo mobile. People move so far away from their families and then become estranged. So sad. I live only 60 miles (an hour + drive) away from my family and it might as well be 500 miles for as often as we get together any more. It often makes me sad.
