Biking fan club

I have a small fan club that cheers me on when I bike ride to work. Most of them are too shy to show their faces, but today one of them raced along with me to show her support. Here she is...
I biked again today. It was the most beautiful weather you could imagine. And I've been successful so far with the no caffeine/no soda rule. I've gone a whole week now with no soda. I had a doctor appointment a week ago to see if I have sleep apnea. The doc thinks I do and I'm now scheduled for an overnight sleep clinic visit next week. Anyways, at my appointment it came to light that I had elevated blood pressure, not high, but edging that way. The doc said that sleep apnea can cause that as well as drinking caffeine, so I decided to do away with the sodas. It's not been easy. I love PEPSI. I even named my last dog Pepsi. I used to have the nickname of Pepsi. It's been in my life for a l-o-n-g time. I have quit before for a full year and another time for four months so I know I can do it....but do I really want to? Right now the answer is yes.

I LOVE your biking companion....what a good boy/girl! Does your friend give you encouragement while you cycle? I'm very proud of you PA for biking to work.

Sorry to hear about the Pepsi, however, you should be able to buy caffine free Pepsi.

Your biking and stopping the caffeine should make you feel much better. Of course not having all the salt that is in Pepsi will be beneficial to your blood pressure too. Be careful. Love your cheering section.

Cool, but dangerous! So, be careful!!

Glad you've give up the pop and are getting the sleep apnea checked out.

GOOD FOR YOU for the give ups! You will definitely feel better.
I used to be a coke fiend and gave it up several years ago and now I can't stand the taste of it.

YOU GO GIRL!!!

I better sell my Pepsi stock! Good luck on your sleep study. Don't worry about what you might do in your sleep (fart) with people watching you all night long, oh and filming it too!

I stopped drinking caffeinated drinks a few years ago and that has really helped alot of my health issues. Keep going with your commitment, it'll be worth it.

What a companion. I was under the impression they were mean. Guess I am wrong..?.. Good for you for quitting Pepsi and even diet stuff too. Its soooooo bad for your health. You can clean your toilets with it its so powerful and full of High fructoise Corn syrup that is so bad for you too. Drink more water.

Good for you Patty! {biking and pepsi} I love Diet Pepsi. I know that you can do anything you put your mind too.

I have a friend that has a boat at Whittier. She borrowed Carina and is hooked! She thinks you are a "FABULOUS" writer! Turns out she also has the childrens book you wrote.

Blessings,
