MORE snow

We got another two inches of snow last night and it is still snowing. It's supposed to get up to 35 degrees today though so I expect it will melt quickly. This is why I have hankerings to live in the lower '48. Everybody else has flowers coming up, trees beginning to bud out, grass....and we are still getting new snow. It's beautiful but winter lasts WAY too long.

I got my art room cleaned out last night. I have way too much junk. Some of this has got to go!

The carpet will be finished today and then we start the task of moving everything (except the junk we aren't keeping) back into the three rooms.

ps We are farm owners! We closed on the land purchase in Missouri yesterday. I went to bed dreaming of horses, cows, pigs and chickens.

Are you moving to MO? To farm????
That's one way to get away from snow. Oh no, they have snow too. Maybe not as long as you do in AK.

Thanks for all your info on what is involved in moving stuff from rooms to be revamped. I am dreading doing this so much. I cannot even imagine. But I want the end result too! What a conundrum. My DH is a pack rat too...and I have to admit I have my own LOT of stuff.

Lynn - We plan to retire to Missouri in about 10 years. It's still a long ways off but we want to get the land paid for prior to moving down there.

What an delightful way to fall asleep...Hope your dreams are all lovely ones! I will envy Alaskan weather in about a month and a half when "spring" finally does arrive up there and the scalding desert begins to torture down here...Guess no place is perfect!

It is 85F here today. UGH.. I am complaining about the heat. No, I take that back. I am not complaining. Just whining a little. ;) Congrats on getting your property. Have you been there? Will you go there prior to moving? How exciting. I bet you didn't sleep much. Missouri is a beautiful state. Where abouts in Missouri? We live about a 3 hour drive from St Louis.

PA I feel for you just don't do like I did and stop one room short...my giddyup and go left without me and I still got the room with the reason to do it all left undone aaaarrrrgh!!! Just drove home from Tok today and 8 inches of snow fell last night and it was snowing or raining all the way to Anchortown....You probably don't remember the years it snowed on your birthday but it does and quite often. They get snow in Missouri it just doesn't stay long and I'm sure you will find a way to ease into the humidity...heat is one thing, sweating because you blinked is down right frustrating. I hate taking a shower you can't get dry from too. I'll stop by and check on your paint job in a few days so I don't get in the way. I'd help but then I'd feel guilty that I wasn't finishing JT's house and I still got the house in Slodotna to do yet and build that house in Tok and and and I think I will just sit down and take a break I got so tired of thinkin of all the things I put on my plate to do yikes!
