Two down, one to go

We emptied another room yesterday and then painted it from top to bottom. We are painting everything white since my husband is involved. I would probably go for some light colors or painting two walls an accent color, but sweetie is more conservative than that. I don't mind though, we now have two rooms completely gutted and repainted which hasn't happened in a long time. The last thing to do is to totally take everything out of my art room......I have to do that the next two evenings. Carpet goes in on Wednesday and then we being the task of putting everything back. As I've been hauling junk out I keep saying "that is not going back in my bedroom!" so I'm gearing up for a big garage sale later in May.

Sorry I haven't been around to check everyone's blogs - I'm hoping by next weekend to be back to my normal routine again.

Oh I am so envious of you
I too have a house to paint lol
I keep looking at houses that have wood decorations on the wall Maybe they are panels I don't know but the old fashioned look is becoming so appealing. plus it would offer more wall insulation.
I am dreaming and it is keeping me from painting
lol

You're doing well. I have a lot to paint. Have been putting it off for 5 years now. One room, 18 years!

How long does it take to paint rooms, have old flooring removed and new put in? Am planning to get to this this summer. Am fearing it, dreading it. Did you just move furniture out of one room at a time?

I'll be doing the same at our place this spring/summer too. Wish I was getting some new flooring, but unless I win the lottery that won't be happening.. Have fun.
