Jack of all trades

Today I feel like a Jack of all trades. I'm an artist, author (I love saying that!), municipal worker, and now I've added painter to my list of capabilities. I may not be a great painter, but I'm a painter none the less because one bedroom is, in fact, painted. Whew! What a day! One of my sisters came by this morning and helped, she did one coat on the trim all around. Then she had to leave but another sister stopped by. She didn't help paint but did give suggestions....that's always appreciated.....not. I joke. She's the one who painted my house 2 years ago because I started it 11 years ago and never finished it. Then my mom stopped by to see how it was coming. The sister in WI heard I was painting and called in to check on me also. Do you get the feeling my family is amazed I'm actually painting? They all have to stop in to "see" it with their own eyes.

I've still got one bedroom to go and I feel pooped! I'm not sure I can do it. I feel all achy. Maybe if I did more physical activity I wouldn't feel so sore? Let's not jump to conclusions!

I am sure you want to hurry and get it all done, but giving some time between rooms seems only sensible to me. Laughing at your family's INTEREST! At least one or two of them are helping paint.
You do have a lot of wonderful feathers in your cap! Bravo!

Good for you Patty. It will feel so good to get it done. It will look good too. You go girl. It is difficult to do a big job after sitting around all winter. I felt that way the first few times I got out in the garden this spring.

Painting sure can be a "pain". I'm always excited to start and very quickly ready to be done!!

So what color did you paint it? Home seems like a new place with a fresh coat of paint.
