Thankful Thursday

I received two wonderful ATC's in the mail this week. They are from Margaret at Water Blossoms. The first is a Bear Claw Heart designed especially for me! I feel special! The next is one of her wonderful Saguaro Cactus designs on textured cardstock. It is beautiful. Margaret is from Arizona and the temps have been above 100 degrees...I do not think I would survive.

Sweetie is home from the cabin along with three galloping, obnoxious, smelly dogs. I love them all. Tim brought back some new pictures which I will post tomorrow.

I've added my blogoversary countdown. I'm planning to do a very special giveaway on that day so stay tuned if you want to receive an original watercolor, pen & ink, or scherrenschnitte from me! I haven't decided yet what to do - any suggestions?

I've added a few more ATC's to my Flickr site - check it out if you are up for a trade. For those of you who've stated you'd like to trade but don't feel artistic, why not do a collage style 3.5 x 2.5 card for me. Something personal. For instance (I'll use my sister Kris as an example) she could do a card using regular cardstock with a collage of pictures of her goats. See? Easy peasy! Some of you who crochet...could you crochet a 3.5 x 2.5 rectangular shape out of embroidery thread and mount it on contrasting cardstock? That would be so beautiful! I would love to receive something personal from each of you.

Did I mention I like guppies? These are my two new guppy ATC's.
