I'm off to see the wizard

Not really.

But I am off to see Homer. I'm leaving tomorrow a.m. and will be back Saturday afternoon. I'm really excited about all the fun I'm going to have. I'll be looking at art galleries, eating out at fun seaside bistros, having s'mores on the beach and sitting on my lawnchair in the sand watching the fishing boats come in while the sun sets.

Before you think that sitting on the beach sounds wonderful, keep in mind that it will probably be very windy (it always is) and cold. It's been overcast and gray, so I doubt it will be much above high 50's. And it's not a beach like in California or Florida. It's rocky and the ocean is cold so there is no swimming or even wading.

It will still be fun. Even if it is windy and cold.

I wish I was there with you on the beach. Are you going to spit on the spit?

Yes, there will definately be spitting on the spit. You have to. It's the law.

Beaches, whether warm or cold, are always wonderful. :) And 50 degrees sound delightful on this 80 degree, very muggy day! Have lots of fun!
