My bike

Today I spent my lunch break outside at our picnic table and sketched. In my line of vision was my bike. I love my bike. It looks better in real life - the tires are actually circular and not lumpy. It's also a beautiful mossy green with silver. I still say it needs something on the basket; plastic flowers? ribbon woven around the top? a fake bird perched on the edge?
When I got home I found that my husband bought me a little gadget that attaches to my handle bars and tells me the time, how many mph I'm going, how many miles my trip is, and what my average speed is. Then it will also tell me if I'm over or under my average speed. I'm not sure I need that much information, but I do like the clock, trip miles and mph features.

Wow! Now you will know for sure that you're going 2mph! Feel that wind in your hair!

Ok, that's a good sign...now I know your getting serious about biking!!!!

I'm so glad Tim bought you a bike computer. I would be lost without mine. Actually, my husband and I both wear heart monitors when we ride so the computer will record our heart rate, miles, cadanence, speed, profile of the ride etc, etc. Then we come home and download it to the computer so we can log our bike workouts.

I love the bike sketch!
