Spring Flowers Finally!

We finally have some spring flowers!

Well, they're not real, but they did brighten my day! I made this small bouquet of tulips using origami.

I'm really enjoying the origami....I'm going to have to buy a book showing me all the patterns to follow. Right now I'm reading them from the back of the old calendar pages I got from my friend at work. But as I fold the paper for that day, I lose the directions. That's not good. I've found I can't remember from day to day how I folded that particular item.

I plan to give this bouquet to the friend at work who gave me the old calendar. I think she will enjoy them.

Kris - I'll make you some when I come down. How bout that? I don't think they would travel well in my carry-on.

I'm enjoying them, I thought they were for me until you said you work together (LOL) I love the creative juices flowing through you. We have a place at AC Moore that use to offer how to classes. I'm going to check into it. I remembers sometime last year seeing the work Origami but didn't know what it was. Thanks for the Tulips, they've brighten my day. Now I'm on my way to the evening service to pray and say prayers for everyone.

Love for a Happy Sunday!

Those are so cheery. Your friend is going to be blessed!

Hey, you want to come and visit when we have our summer reading program this July and you could teach the kids origami!

I could do origami with the kids during first week of June - I don't believe I will be coming back in July. For one thing it's WAY TOO HOT in July.
