I'm beginning to see a slight tinge of green on the front lawn up near the house. I saw teeny tiny little buds on a birch tree out my window at work. And my lilacs have new sprouts growing up around the base of the bush.
I went to work with a big smile on my face thinking how nice it was that spring is finally here. Until my boss reminded me that last year we got about 10 inches of snow on April 25th. That's still a few days away. And then seeing my crestfallen face he also told me that he heard there was a chance of rain or snow this weekend.

I've decided to ignore everything my boss says from here on out. That may get me into trouble eventually, but I can't hear any more talk of snow.

Green is a very nice color. They say that it's going to be 70 today and 80 tmr. Maybe T storms.
It's only going to get better from this point on. Green, green and lots of green.
You'll have to take a picture of your melting snow in Anchorage.
Just like a "Boss" to rain on your parade. Boss begone... at least after he signs the paychecks... )lol)
Love you,
Hey did you see the movie Earth? It was truly incredible...
Love ya.
I'm glad you have some green. I'm looking out at our very large front lawn and thinking we'll gonna have to mow it in a week or two if the temps stay nice, well the boys are gonna have to mow I mean.
