Another campfire story Dad would start required another participant willing to respond correctly. It goes like this:
Dad: You remind me of a man.
Kid: What man?
Dad: A man of great power. (he always said this with great mystery)
Kid: What power?
Dad: The power of Whoodoo! (and his bushy eyebrows would go up)
Kid: Whoodoo?
Dad: You do. (back to being serious)
Kid: Do what?
Dad: Remind me of a man.
And it goes on and on and on. I actually used to play this game with my kids too. It's amazing how easily my family is amused. We are really cheap dates! We didn't have a TV for most of my growing up years, so maybe that has something to do with it. Plus we were stuck on a 40' sailboat for three years with only each other for company. That could account for our warped sense of humor too.

Are you missing Dad? Do you need a lecture?
Don't forget being woken up by duck calls in the morning!
And green frosting on OUR birthday cakes.
Good response Aunt Krissy.....And to think I missed out on a lot of what your talking about. But will admit to pestering my grown son still with "wake up little rose bud. Daylight in the swamps (of your mind)" He hates it so much I can get him moving fast lolololol
You guys really had some fun time growing up and some cool experiences. Thanks for sharing those interesting and funny things on your blog!
