Wagon ride

When we first arrived at the retreat we were asked to sign up for several sessions of classes and activities. Mom and I signed up for the wagon ride during the activity hour. Even though I was sick I decided I could use a little fresh air.

I'd like to point out that on the program for the retreat it states "please be considerate" when it comes to time to go to bed. There is no set time for lights out, as we are all adult women and don't need to be told what to do.

Well, I've found that some adult women (specifically those ladies from Kenai!) need to be told when to go to bed. They came into the cabin late (11:30!) laughing and shrieking and talking and goofing off. I was cranky but didn't say a word. Then in the morning they were all talking loud and laughing again. I rolled over in my sleeping bag and faced the wall so the light wouldn't shine in my eyes.

I'm sure if I wasn't so sick I wouldn't have minded and I'm glad they all had such a wonderful time at the retreat. They sure sounded like they did.

Mom is in the middle pic all bundled up....next to her is a NOISY Kenai lady.
