I mentioned in an earlier post that I like glass art. I really do, there's something about glass that appeals to me. Whenever I'm in the Seattle airport I can spend hours walking around looking at the glass art exhibits. I've spent many a night in the Seattle airport and believe me, it's nice to have something to occupy your time.
I like fish too, so fish made of glass really floats my boat. My office at work is full of glass fish. I have glass balls in fish shapes hanging from the ceiling, small glass fish in a row across the top of my computer monitor and then a collection of fish on my bookcase. I also have a glass octopus that is very special, but he's kept closer to my keyboard where no one can accidently knock him to the floor. Within the glass fish collection is a smaller group of fish inside other glass things. I'm always on the lookout for more but they are hard to find. If you find one, send it to me!

Didnt I get you that glass octopus?
I like your collection.
I love your glass pieces.Very colorful. I also like crystal...we have crystal balls hanging in our bay windows at home. My husband even hung a crystal piece from one of our trees outside near the house.
I've never seen glass fish like that. They are beautiful. Where would you find them?
Yes - my octopus is from Kris. I got most of them out of those inexpensive gift catalogs like Miles Kimball or Harriet Carter. A couple have come from little gift stores. I haven't spent more than $20 for any one piece. But they do make me smile.
Oh, I adore the third one from the the left. That one is awesome.
