Visitors to Alaska

We've recently hosted some visitors to Alaska. Our son was married 3 weeks ago so we had some out of state guests. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandbaby came from Virginia and my in-laws came from Missouri for the wedding.

It's fun to have visitors when you live in Alaska because you get to show off the scenery and wildlife of our beautiful state. Our guests saw whales, dolphins, sea-lions, dall sheep, moose, and although we didn't glimpse them we had a black bear and two cubs come through our church parking lot while we were all inside. It rained the entire time except for the afternoon of the wedding (Thank you God!) and the one day we planned an all day halibut fishing trip.

Plus, having visitors forces you to clean house thoroughly....and that's a good thing because it hadn't been done in a long, long time!

So... I've been having a hard time getting a comment to post to Krissys' blog although it did happen once.

arrrgggh...now I'm a slave to reading yours and Krissys blog....and I'm way behind on P-Dubs blog. Oh well...it's fun. I know...maybe I'll sneak a peek while I'm at work. Break time or lunchtime of course! ;)

BTW (that's "by the way" to you older folks who may not know the newest lingo)....my 25th anniversary is coming up....and i sure do think that snitzel stuff is pretty awesome!!
