The parking lot was packed so we ended up parking along the road at one of the many pull-outs. Trucks and trailers were parked all along the narrow road making it very difficult to maneuver. We lucked out and had someone leaving just as we were arriving. Travis hopped out and started shoveling so we could get our trailer backed in. The spot was so tight we couldn't back into it, so the snow machines had to be unloaded first, the trailer backed in by hand and then the truck backed in after it.
Lots of fresh snow at the cabin! Tim got up on the porch and shoveled a path to the door. Roxy is waiting (not so) patiently to be able to go inside. The girls testing how deep the snow was. They kept jumping off the packed portion to see how far they'd sink in. There was some rolling down the hills too. Young people have way more energy than I!
Packing a trail to the outhouse with the machine and cutting steps down with a shovel. Some of the girls had to go.....NOW!
What happens when you park a machine close to where the snow will shed off the cabin roof as soon as it heats up a bit. Travis' skis got buried when the next clump fell.
Nathan and Dianna
Nathan on the machine behind me. It was kind of hard to turn around a shoot a pic while I was bumping along.

Dianna riding in the sled. You can see Travis skiing down the hill too.
Back at the truck and very crowded. Snow machines were parked all along the road while owners shoveled out their trucks and trailers. Our neighbor was not so lucky...his truck didn't start even after getting a jump. Since Travis had shoveled before we parked we were able to get out with no problem. We had a great weekend!
