Will the cold ever end?

It was minus 12 degrees at my house this morning.  My car would not start.  My husband tried to jump it several times with his truck but that didn't work either.  Periodically throughout the day he kept trying.  It warmed up to 12 degrees above zero so we thought with 24 degree warming, it just might work.  No such luck.  He finally gave up this evening about 7:00pm.  I called my sister and she will give me a ride to church tomorrow.  Sweetie is going to try some more ideas tomorrow - I hope it starts.  I hate being without my own car.  Luckily we have the truck though so it's not like I don't have any options.....however, the truck is a stick shift and I (believe it or not) have never really learned to drive one.  Sweetie has been making plenty of comments today about how he wouldn't have to chauffeur me around if I would just learn to drive a stick.  hmmmmm  maybe it is time....or maybe my car will start tomorrow!

I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, but I certainly have been absent from blogging. Work has kept me very busy - end of year is always hard, but it's worse this year with an employee I'm still training and a new boss who has lots of ideas and expects me to implement them.  I think he's got great ideas, I just feel like my time is stretched to the limit. Things will get better after 13th month closing.  Until then, I don't expect to have a lot of free time.

Merry Christmas to all!  I hope you are able to spend time with family and friends and enjoy a relaxing time away from whatever causes you stress!  I hope to be able to get around and visit you all more regularly after the New Year.

Heard that it's been cold in your neck of the woods. A little chilly and snowy here. Course it is December so I wont complain too much, although I'd like to :)

Have a good holiday with your family, take care.

Brrrrr and winter is only just begun. I hope your car starts for you. Learn to drive that stick shift. It will come in handy many times no doubt. Merry Christmas.

It's a busy time for all of us isn't it? I'm so far behind that I can see my back.

hope your car starts - we have had pretty mild weather - just into the 30's.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Stick shift isn;t hard and actually a lot of fun to drive. You also have a better control of your car with the stick.
But I still like automatic lol
