Gray Jays

I sketched a young gray jay that kept landing on the woodpile to get our attention so we would bring him breadcrumbs.  His mom was coming in too, but she wouldn't come right up to the window.  Happy Animal Wednesday!

What a sweet little bird. I have never seen a juvenile. Great sketches. I enjoy seeing the rain too. I have almost forgotten what rain looks like.

He looks like a poor little rascal and so lucky to have you there to feed him.

Wonderful sketches! Looks like a great trip, even if it did rain a lot. :)
Glad you are feeling better.

Patty, you no longer come up on my blog since Blogger changed format :(

I'll try to get you back somehow!

I have never heard of grey jays. Looks like corvid cousins!

What a view you have from the cabin. Wow!

Love your bird sketches! I like to put out whole peanuts in the shell...the Blue Jays here (Michigan) devour them immediately.
