When Pigs fly...

This hand-carved wooden pig was found by someone who shall remain nameless at our trash dump site.  (we aren't supposed to scrounge so officially this all happened a long time ago by I don't know who)  The plan is to clean him up, fix his broken leg, add a tail, repaint him to a more realistic color, carve some wooden wings (me!) and attach them to his back and then possibly take him to the cabin for display as a weather vane.  It seemed a shame to let someone's "art" get thrown away!  Who would dare such a thing?!

Kind of goofy?  I don't care.  For some reason we like this little pig.

Happy Animal Wednesday!

I think he's lovely - and will look awesome with wings - especially with those teeth!

What a fun find. You will fix him up like new. Love the idea of wings. Poor ole piggy went to Market.. got lost and ended up in the dump. :)

One can find inspiration anyplace. I hope you aren't too sore from your tumble.
