drawing in church

Today I sketched a man who has been coming fairly regularly. I've met him before but forgot his name and didn't get the chance to ask after church.

Marianne asked if our snow is gone yet or getting close.....well, it's definately melting but we still have a way to go. Nothing is budding or blooming, but there is old grass and a few blades of green showing around the edges of our yard.
It will still be awhile before the snow is gone, trees are green and spring is really here.

Another great sketch. Love the plaid shirt. You did that so well. I have been moaning and groaning about all the rain we have gotten this spring. I think after seeing your snow still there I will quit moaning. At least we see lots of green and things blooming. :) Its a good thing your snow is melting slowly so you dont flood.

Your people are so good Patty. I bet you can't wait for all the snow to be melted. It is making headway.

Late spring this year, you'll prob have an early one next year - or a fantastically nice summer. something to make up for all that snow :)
