Winter wonderland

View from the post office near my house. I then took a picture of my car next to a snow pile - most parking lots look like this because they have to pile the snow some where.

I went in to work for a few hours day and stopped to take these pictures. It is clear and COLD, but beautiful. It has been -10 at our house for about 2 weeks. It's supposed to be warmer this weekend.
From my front porch. Here's the city road grader getting rid of some of the snow on our street. And below is the finished look! Our electric problems all got fixed, the repairman was here for 6 hours on Thursday. We still don't have the bill and are a little concerned. But regardless, it had to be done. We got hooked back up to the grid on Friday by noon. Electricity is such a wonderful invention!

I agree snow covered nature is beautiful; but I get cold just looking at the pictures. I could not in a million years actually live in such an enviornment. LOL
Happy you are happy there and hope your bill will not be too daunting.

That top photo is beautiful. wow. Glad you got your electricity fixed. At those temps you would be in deep trouble without heat.
