Zentangle Balloon

This started out as a zentangle using only stripes and spots but morphed into a hot air balloon. I love when zentangles take on a life of their own.

I really like that. :)

I've been working on a project with 'my' kids at work. Sharpies on a coffee filter, color with watercolor, spray with water, sop a little with paper towel, let dry and decoupage. They dry transparent.

I said all that to say this.

The zentangle idea would work wonderfully on the filters for those kids who love the detail work.

Very cool! I saw an ad the other day at the movie theater that Sharpie (like the black marker) is doing a promotional contest. I thought of you. I think if you go to Sharpie.com you can look up the contest, I bet you would win.

I love this. I love how it ended up being a hot air balloon.

This is just great Patty. I am amazed how you can come up with such good zens. As my DB says mine always look the same. Hmmmm?????

Oh so neat Patty. It always amazes me when those zens do their own thing.

I don't know why I keep sketching/watercoloring after I look at yours...they are soooo good! Love all your posts about your visit to your daughter's. Are they by any chance in the Navy? (being in Norfolk) Hope they are safe from the Hurricane!!!
