Spring walk

I've been a little remiss on blogging and checking blogs. Not feeling well this week. Today I just had to get out and take the dogs for a walk at the dog park again. As you can see, the trail is getting more muddy than snow - that means SPRING in Alaska. Mud!Remember that I received a $100 gift certificate to a store called Journey's at Christmas? I never did find out who sent the certificate, but I used it to buy these boots which are perfect for muddy walks at the dog park.My front yard is more proof that spring has really arrived. I actually have more grass than snow.
Now I'm ready for summer!

Yippee, grass! Hope the warm-up keeps coming.

We have some snow forecasted for this weekend. Winter just doesn't want to leave!

Maybe some more warmth and mud will invigorate you. I hope you are feeling better after the walk. The dogs look like they had a good romp.

Mud is a fact of life and what would we be without it? I remember the mud pies I used to make as a child and then trying to eat them lol
They were good lol
Amazing.
Enjoy mud and remember clay pots and houses and nests and lots of other things are made out of it.
Mud is life.:)

I love those shoes. They look warm and able to deal with the mud. At least its heading toward warmth and dryer conditions. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
