Special Guest Artist

This fat and happy turkey (or duck) was drawn by my son, Travis, when he was 5 years old. He was always able to draw well, but didn't seem to enjoy it like my daughter and I did. He's graduating from college in a few weeks (hence the upcoming trip to MO).

I think this turkey might be looking forward to joining us for Thanksgiving Dinner!
Happy Animal Wednesday!

I love this...art history! Love hearing about your son.
Reminds me of a drawing I do believe I still have that my now 47 yr old son drew when he was four and I was pregnant with his sister. He drew my belly with a baby inside it. You could see the baby. Now he is expecting his third. I will make a card for him with this drawing on it. Thanks for bringing this memory to the forefront of my brain!

How wonderful that you still have this. One of these days your son might act upon his talent. HAW.
