Sketching in Church

Today I sketched two ladies - one is Erica, who I've sketched before but it was a side view last time. The other is Andi, she's here for a few weeks visiting her new grandbaby.

you really have a good eye (and hand) for heads.
I'm using Diamond Glaze for Glue for the paper and to seal the back of the paper - I also found some "jewelry glue" at michaels - it's like a crazy glue and that seems to be working for the bails, but the diamond glaze is working for the bails also. A white glue did not work at all! all the bails fell right off.
What I also did was to put on the paper, let it dry, seal it on the back and let that dry and then clean up the edges with an exacto knife and then go over the edges to make it smooth - using an emery board. Got rid of any rough edges and looks good.
Good luck and thanks for getting me started on this. I don't know if I'll do many more - but its fun and quick to do. I like the tiny collages best and would focus on those if I have the chance. Look forward to seeing the ones you do with the church ladies.

Wow.. Very good. Mim is right .. you have a good eye and hand for this. As for your comment that it looks like summer here.. not yet... its rainy and cool still but soon I hope.
