This was my view as I left work today. Although I complain about the long winter, I do appreciate the beauty that is found in Alaska. I've lived other places and there is nothing quite like seeing large snow-covered mountains just down the street from where you live and work.

This was my view as I left work today. Although I complain about the long winter, I do appreciate the beauty that is found in Alaska. I've lived other places and there is nothing quite like seeing large snow-covered mountains just down the street from where you live and work.

It is so gorgeous.
We all complain about winter because the beauty is not so evident when city snow is dirty and dangerous. But being outside in the wood in the freshly fallen snow - there's nothing like it.
It is lovely and we can definately apprecieate the beauty of our surroundings while being totally and completely SICK of winter :)
It IS beautiful and if you live there in all that cold and snow, this beauty is an upside. Soon spring will arrive.

This is beautiful. I hope you have some warmer weather sooon. As much as I like winter I do appreciate the sping time.
