Sunday Sketching

Today I sketched a young lady sitting in the pew in front of me to my left. I like it when the sketchee is close to the sketcher. I find when I'm sketching across the room I have to turn my head more and squint a lot....both motions that will get me caught if I'm not more careful. Her name is Erica and she is new to our church. And yes, it's still cold enough here that people are wearing warm winter coats to church. It is 18 degrees today and I don't see spring coming for at least 2 months.

I pretty much bundle up or over-dress in winter gear everyday. Just ask Krissy....she just shakes her head at me, but hey, I'm always cold in the winter months.

She is a pretty young lady. You captured her good. I wish I could come up there and see part of the Ididerod race. I have always wanted to. I have a picture of me standing on the finish line. Of course it was July.

Lisa - I didn't know you've been to Nome! I live here but have never been to Nome myself.
