On my easel

I don't really use an easel, it's a figure of speech. And I don't really have anything concrete on it, but I do have several projects in my mind. I often work things out almost to completion in my mind before I even get the paper out and start sketching.

I know of two more good friends who are planning to retire within the next two months, so I have two more watercolors to do. One will be ravens vertically in a tree and the other will be a couple of eagles in a tree.

I purchased a new paper-cutting book from Borders Books which is going out of business. There is a project in it that is paper cut bookmarks. They look fun. I want to try them soon.

I want to do a watercolor of our cabin on the lake. My MIL asked for one when we were down in October but I still haven't gotten to it.

Now to actually pull out the paper and start drawing......
