grrrr

There was a moose in the backyard so Roxy was barking and the monster Taz wouldn't get off the porch because she is scared of the ominous crackling and crunching sounds coming from the far corner of the yard. I stood out there in the cold for 5 minutes in my robe and slippers trying to get Taz to go potty. I finally gave up and got them both back inside. Then I fed them and Taz attacked Roxy after she finished her own food bowl. So then I took Taz on a leash out the front door to make her go potty outside but there was another moose across the street munching on the neighbors tree. After standing outside in the cold for another 5 minutes, all the while talking encouragingly to my little dog while I felt like screaming at her, she finally went, so I could come back inside. It's -1 degrees. I think it would be much easier to potty-train a dog if it were warmer and there were no moose in the yard! Or maybe I should dress for the cold?

grrrrrr

lol
Poor Taz
I tnink she was hungry so she fights for her food . My shepherd was like that He was a runt of 16 puppies and when I got him bit everyone near his food dish but later on he settled down and forgot about it I guess you have to sit and give and take away her dish until she learns not to do this.Fun fun fun :)

How dare Mr. Moose interfere with potty training.

I have some of the same thoughts about why Taz behaves as she does.. fighting to get food... being bullied by other dogs so expecting to be bullied and not liking it one little bit.. lotsa reasons to respond with anger at her young age... but can get over it...

Moose? Well dogs just act weird around them...

Geez, moose in the back yard and moose in the front yard? Poor Taz, I'd be upset too.

I hope things get better with potty training soon.

I heard there was a big moose population in town this year. Hopefully they'll move out soon, eh?
