My CPAP machine seems to be helping me sleep better and I'm getting used to it. I still wake up when I turn over but fall asleep within 5 minutes.
My Dad had a birthday yesterday. Some of the family met at his house last night after church for angel food cake with green frosting (his favorite) and ice cream. It was fun. Happy Birthday D.
My daughter-in-law made it into town two days ago. She drove up the AlCan (ALaska-Canada) highway with her Dad. My son couldn't come, he couldn't get time off from work. She will be here about three weeks and then goes back to MO for school.
Book sales are still going well - I've sold about 180 myself and the publisher has sold another 300 or so. Those could come back as returns because the retail stores can return them if they don't sell, but let's think positive!
I've got a headache today though and don't want to go to work. I would probably go in late except that I've already promised to pick up a co-worker on the way because her car broke down. If I don't go that will mess her up too. bummer.
If you've read Carina (and liked it) would you consider going to Amazon and leaving a comment and rating it? I think more people would be inclined to buy it if they saw favorable reviews. I know if I'm choosing between two books and one has several positive comments and the other nothing, I'd be more likely to choose the one that others have said is a good read. Thanks! I appreciate it!
