Spring is in the air

It's beginning to feel like spring here. We have gotten up to 45 degrees today and I actually got hot while I was driving my car today. I had the heat off already, but had to take my jacket off because I got unreasonably cranky all the sudden because I was so hot.

The snow is melting in the yard, I've got a section around the house clear of snow where the sun warms it in front. There's still a large berm along the driveway where Tim stacks it all winter.

Since I'm gearing up for carpet replacement in the bedrooms, I decided to get rid of my 20 gallon aquarium. I put a notice up at work and I've got a co-worker coming over today to get it. I'm in the middle of cleaning it out (almost done) and decided to take a quick break because my back is killing me! I believe I retrieved every single last one of the itty bitty guppies out before dumping all the water down the drain. I hope. I get a guilt complex if I think even one of them might die in the drain. I don't really care if another fish eats them (although I give them plenty of things to hide in), after all that is part of a being a small fish. I just don't want to be the one to end their little lives.

Happy Easter to all of you! Go to church tomorrow, it'll do you good.

Yippee....I see a little patch of green grass amongst that snow in your yard. There's hope yet PA.

Blessings to you and T on this Easter weekend.

I can remember picking up my taxes on Apr 15 from H&R Block in that strip mall where Value Village is and the parking lot was treacherous with huge pot holes from the snow melting. In my mind ever since then Spring didn't ever really "start" till Apr 15, but then it'll really went fast. By the 1st of may you'll have a nice green haze to all the trees and a week or so later leaves! It really is a-coming!!

Doesn't it feel good to purge things you don't need or no longer want. Happy Easter to you too.
