Busy Day

I finished the proofing of final blue-line and turned back into the publisher. In total I found 3 items that were wrong. We decided to leave the one line not left-adjusted alone. It won't sell more books to fix it and most people will never find it. In fact, I challenge you all to try and find it once you read my book. Other two items were the publisher's errors and he didn't make any mention of me paying to fix it so I think he's eating the cost. I hope so!

For those of you who have asked about purchasing a copy...I'm not ready yet! As soon as the books arrive and I can stick one in a padded envelope and figure out the shipping I will announce it here. The book will sell for $17.95 plus I'm guessing a couple bucks for postage. I will accept checks or money orders (I'm not set up for credit card sales).

It is 224 pages, soft cover and contains some b&w photos of our trip and some of my original drawings as well as the story of my life....or 3 years of it. By the way, all of you who have exchanged art with me (and I have your address) will be receiving my postcard announcing my book signing reception and will have the opportunity to order online via my publisher if you need to use a credit card.

Thanks for sharing in my excitement! I'll post pics of the book signing - right now I believe that will happen mid-May.

This is all very exciting.
Remember you can also set up a Pay Pal account for people who want to use credit cards. (You lose a few cents/$ on the sale to PP). But if you don't know the people it may be safer for you.
And you can even get a button on your blog page that says Buy This or something like that and takes them to the Pay Pal page immediately!!!! Clever gadgets I have seen on others blogs.

I am anxiously waiting also.

Lynn is right about Paypal and it doesn't take much at all to set it up.
