Cover design

I received a copy of my book's cover design. What do you think? I absolutely love it! The colors are perfect - those blues/greens are the exact color of the ocean in the Bahamas and Caribbean. I need to proof and offer suggestions for wording on the back and soon I will be proofing the entire book for errors (yuck). My publisher will be adding a small pic of me to the back and a short biography too. I imagine that will be down in that white sandy beach area.

Only 7 weeks away from real books!

I love, love, love it!

I could proof it too. Is that just reading it and looking for errors, typos and stuff? I did that once after the 2nd or 3rd draft, I think. Long time ago.

That is a very nice cover! Will it be published in hardback or softcover?

To all: Of course I will sign any copies. No, I did not paint the cover. My publisher hired someone to do the cover, he always does and I was a bit worried about it, but turns out it's great. Travis - you are a goof! (that's my son) I only say "yuck" to proofing because I wrote it, then rewrote it, then rewrote it again, edited it, then reread it about 20 gazillion times, and now I have to proof it.

This is fantastic! You are a published author as well as your talents as an artist? Bravo! And if I can read the back clearly you were a teenager during these sea travels with your family? How exciting!! What an adventure! I hope there are details about how the family got along or not ...all those female hormones raging. Wow!
I would love to read your book. Let us know when we can get an autographed copy please. What brave parents you had too.

Can't wait for your book to come out and I will want to order a couple. Krissy has showed me pics and talked about your sailing many times (how could you have taken 3 years on a sailboat with her without drowning her?! - just joking!!)

Being that I'm Alicia's twin.
I love, love, love it!

But I wont offer to proof it because we know that that is not my strong point. I'm more of a "support" type person.

I really do like the cover. It makes me want to read the book. Yes, I admit I will read a book by its cover. But then your story interests me immensely.

Congratulations. I look forward to its arrival in the bookstores!
