Amazed

I'm truly amazed. I am proofing my book....again, for the last time. I'm on page 109 out of 222 and I've found 5 errors in spelling already. That may not seem like alot, but keep in mind I proofed it thoroughly just 2 weekends ago. And I edited it and proofed it at least 15 million times before this. How can I be so sloppy!? It's not possible, you think, until you proof it again.

I'm amazed. I can now see why I find errors in books occasionally. They are hard to find. Either that, or my editor is putting in errors when I return it to him to test my sleuthing abilities. Yeah, that's it!

Here are two recent pics of my cutie patooties. Hailey, age 6 months is on top. Bottom is Emily, age 3. I get to see them in approximately 4 weeks! YAY!

What gorgeous kids these are!!!
Both so pretty and the look in the eyes of Hailey, she looks a bit naughty, I like that!

Something to look forward to!

Have a nice day!

What absolutely angelic children!!! My granddaughters' name is Emily also...she is 1.5 years old.

I always seem to be able to find one more spelling issue...it does seem impossible to ever end up finding them all!!!

Ha! You should let me proof it! No worries. My GN's look pretty cute!

what a nuisance, doesn't the 'abc' spelling checker work on your computer or is it checking a hand written page? that is why we often have two moderators when marking very important exams at school, they check each other. those girls are absolutely beeeoootfful and emily has a halo over her head.bet youcan't wait to see them. xxx

I guess they aren't all spelling errors, more grammatical. I've got one sentence with no period. A semi-colon where I should have a comma. A hyphen that created itself. A name not capitalized. Stuff spell-checker wouldn't necessarily catch.

Oh what little cuties!!!!

I love proofing. I always find errors in the newspapers (they threatened to make me do it when I wrote for the newspaper).

Can't wait to read the book!!

Ican't imagine proofing a book when I can't even get my blog post correct.

It's weird how you can look at something one time, then go back and look at it again and pick up on thing like that. Hope you are able to find and correct any discrepancies.

Cute pics of the kiddos!
