Hearts for Haiti
I missed church this morning due to a headache so didn't get any sketching done at church today. My dog Panda had two more seizures today that I know of. We had gone out to lunch with my sister and her husband so were gone from the house for awhile. In between seizures she's been sleeping a lot. Panda seems okay but has gotten even clingier than usual. She's always been the type of dog to sit next to me, but now she's leaning on me. It's nice though, I don't mind at all. Thanks for all your concern. I still plan to take her to the vet to see what's up, but have a very busy week scheduled so can't take time off from work. I'll call vet tomorrow and see if I can get an early evening appt set up.
Next up is Hearts for Haiti. Laure (a connection through several of my art friend bloggers) is creating art made from hearts to raise money for Haiti. We are each sending in an ATC size (2.5" x 3.5") heart that she will combine into a print or t-shirt design that will be for sale. Here's my design. I wanted to show the USA giving hope and love to Haiti. The wording on the ribbon says "A HeART for Haiti". If you want to help, submit some Heart Art of your own. Just click on the Art Hearts for Haiti link on my sidebar to read more about it.
10:30 pm Panda just had another seizure. I'm up checking blogs since I'm making sure she is calmed down and back to sleep before I go to bed again. I'm beginning to think something serious is going on. I'm going to take her with me in the morning and drop her off at the vet clinic before I go to work so that they can examine her and take care of her for me all day. I'm a little worried to leave her home alone with just the other two dogs to help.

I am glad you are taking her to the vet. Seizures are not a good thing. Poor Panda.
I like your heart for Haiti.
Patty, I'm really bummed for you that Panda is having problems. Other then her licking me all the time she is a good girl. I hope that it's something that can be fixed with some pills.
Nice heart. I like that your group is doing something for Haiti.
Glad you are taking her into the vet's.
It's nice that folks are coming together for Haiti. I'm wondering if other nations did the same for us after Katrina, I don't think they did or if they did it wasn't publicized much.
The card is fabulous! Great work!
Prayers for you and for Panda. Good idea to get her looked at and evaluated. I'm guessing epilepsy. But I am no vet.
Hugs to all of you!
Panda must be exhausted from her seizures, poor girl. I'm so glad you are taking her to the Vet. Keep us posted.
Oh, poor girl, hopefully the vet can help her.
You heart is just perfect and perfectly beautiful!!!
That Hearts for Haiti cause sounds like a great idea. The picture you did is great!
Hope the vet can figure out a way to help Panda.
