My daughter-in-law gave us the most creative gift for Christmas this year. She took photographs of outdoor scenes that portrayed a letter, more importantly the letters in our last name. I was unable to photograph the whole picture frame since it is 6 photos long, but I was able to do it in increments of 2 letters each.
When I first opened the wrapped package I thought she had given us a picture frame.....I didn't get that each picture was a hidden letter. Then she told me that she had difficulty finding a K so had to get that one off the internet. That's when it hit me.....K I L S O N.
I want to try to photograph letters in nature now. I'm starting to see them everywhere I look. It will be a new fun project.

now this is what i call truly inventive and creative, and what a wonderful project for 2010. hny again to you.
I love this look. Your DIL did a great job. We actually sell these signs in the shop where I work. They sell for $11.50 per letter and you can spell most anything. There are many artists doing this in our area. Some only charge $6 per letter. I can't wait to see your alphabet taken in nature.
That's really cool PA! Art in nature is never limited.
Happy New Year!
That is a very creative idea! I think I'll be playing a bit of "I Spy" too looking for those hidden letters.
