More scherrenschnitte
(even if I can't pronounce it, I still love to write the word.) My daughter-in-law appreciates crafted, homemade items so I made her a little something for Christmas. I took a candle holder from Party Light and inserted a papercutting that I designed especially for her. She and my son plan to live in Japan as soon as they are finished with schooling so I made her a votive holder with a Japanese motif.
Please note this is a double globed candle holder, the paper is NOT directly against the flame but inbetween two pieces of glass. Following are the three designs of a Japanese lady, a stork and a bamboo plant.
Tomorrow I'll post the creative cool thing Becky made for me - it is wonderful!
