Friday!

Even with Wednesday off, this week was l-o-n-g! Ever since I came back from vacation I am having a hard time with the realities of my life....work. I do not want to get up to go to work, I do not want to be at work and I do not want to do my work. It's really gotten bad.

So, I need to figure out a way for me (and sweetie) to have enough money to retire MUCH sooner than originally planned in 12 years. At this moment, if I knew I was going to retire in 7 years, I think I can force myself to go to work everyday. Just knocking 5 years off, that's not so bad!

Here are my ideas so far:

  • Write the next major novel and become a #1 selling author.
  • Develop a way to paint quicker, more accurately, and more beautifully and sell my art for millions of dollars.
  • Invent something spectacular that everyone wants and needs.
  • Find a new job that pays the same, BUT will have no employee issues. (ha ha ha ha)
  • Inherit money from long lost family member. (I'm kind of related to Amelia Earheart)
  • Win a lottery.
  • Encourage my kids to become movie stars so they will fork over some money to me.
  • Become a movie star myself.

So am I living in la la land? I think so. This too shall pass.

Hey Patty girl, anyone can dream a little. If you want to retire sooner, than do that. Just start figuring out your plan NOW! I'm doing the exact same thing. I hope to retire from my library job in maybe two years.

As my daughter says....just pray about it!!!!!

Patty, I thought that you loved loved your job? They respect you, you get GOOD pay what more could you want?

But if you do move to MO you would only be about a 10 hrs drive from me.
That's jow long it will take to get to Tim's folks.

I wish I could help you. It really is a mind set. You have to set you mind in the mode that this is what happens so get on with it. Sad but true. OOps. Take the sad part out. One needs to be thankful. Peace.

I have no doubt that you can accomplish 1&2. Go for it! Nothing beats a failure but a try!

I'lll support your book and your art work! I'll be so proud to say, "Hey, I know her!"

Love ya.
PS What about the hubby? What's his talent? (LOL)

You seem to be in a bit of a funk right now, but this too shall pass.

I like your list :) I especially like the lottery one, cuz I play every week and am hoping too!

I feel the same way about getting up in the mornings. I am sure we will feel much better when the sun comes back.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
