I love the Mountains

My husband and I talk about moving to MO when we retire. I think MO is beautiful; gently rolling hills, meadows, pastures, fields, and farm animals. I've been to the Ozark Mountains but technically, those aren't mountains.

Can I live without the mountains? That is the question. I think I can if I just pretend they are over the next hills.

Well Patty, come to Tucson, we have beautiful mountains to fulfill that need. :)

You might miss them at first, but then you get use to them not being on the horizon.

Occasionally I get the itch to see some, but just go to your blog, see your pictures to get my fix.

I can't decide what cow pic I like best, that's why I keep shuffling them around.

It's funny how the land can become a part of you.

I miss the mountains and I have never lived by them. I feel about mountains like some people talk about the ocean. I just gotta see them once in awhile. I feel so at home in them.

I miss the mountains, and you! Although, I do love how big the sky looks in MO because of the lack of mountains. :)

I would think you would miss them terribly. Yet, there is so much beauty in God's world elsewhere, you could be perfectly satisfied.

Looks nice - I could live there (as long as the internet connection is good)

I am like Lisa...mountains give my soul spunk! MO might be nice...but I think you will have a huge eco-culture shock...hills are simply hills...one can't make a mountain out of them...LOL :)
