Procrastination

I need somebody to light a fire under me!

About 3 months ago our Customer Service Manager announced she was retiring after 42 years with our company. I have made a point of giving an original piece of my art to each of our retiring staff (the ones I like!) and I like her. At the time I had an idea in my head and I even sketched it out and planned to work on it leisurely so that I wouldn't be under any pressure. It just dawned on me, today, that I have less than 2 weeks. In fact, I have 1.5 weeks. I have to finish drawing it, painting it and then frame it. aaarrrrggghhhh Why do I do this to myself?
Yesterday I also spoke with my sister who lives in WI and she has sold some bars of her homemade goat milk soap. And guess what? I still don't have her packaging done. So I went out on my lunch break, bought supplies and am forcing myself to work on that tonight. Then I can start the other project.

On another note, a blogger friend of mine Crochet Lady is having a random giveaway - she has both a beautiful pair of beaded earrings that she made and a hat/scarf set that she crocheted. Click on her name if you are interested in entering her drawing for one of these items.

Better get busy! Nag, Nag, Nag!!!!

Cleaver way to get Crochet Lady's link in your post. I wondered myself how to accomplish that.

Kris keeps mentioning..."and when my sister gets my label done." The pressure is on!
Maybe you're like me? I come up with some of my best ideas at the last minute.
Can't wait to see the final results.
Thanks for posting a link to my giveaway.

It's sad, but life is just too busy isn't it? Take a deep breath and relax...you'll get the picture done.

I do like the bird sketch and then it will look great once the color is added. Good luck PA
