Twin Birch

This is the watercolor painting I will be giving away on August 4th. I spent the morning in my art room, dabbing paint on paper. It's what I planned to do last weekend but ended up with a migraine the whole time so never got it done. I still have more I want to accomplish this weekend but for now I've got to get out of the house and go shopping. The painting is 5" x 7" in an 8" x 10" mat. I plan to ship it that way so you will have to provide your own 8" x 10" frame.

I've also done 3 loads of laundry. Ta Da! If you know me very well, you would know that the laundry is more of an accomplishment than the painting. But let's not tell everyone I'm a poor housekeeper.

Nice picture. If I won I want the pic that Katie did, not "Twin Birch" Maybe katie will see this and just give it to me?

Kris - maybe you should just give Katie a call and ask her for the drawing instead of trying to finagle it through my give-away?

If the Twin Birch was finagled into my home I would most appreciate it. Marvelous.

I really, really like that. I like how the two trees stand out in the foreground. Birch trees are some of my favorite trees.

Very nice PakArt!

Twin birch would look great in my home too.. Are there birch in WI? Because I don't think I've ever seen any here..

I know my son's laptop is not doing the image justice, but still it seems to glow right off the screen! I love the lights and darks....and I am sure there must be a proper name for this.

very nice Patty! Did you have to look at a picture to paint that or does it just form there on the paper from what your minds eye sees? It's just weird that you people (artsy people) can do that!
