It's All Good!

I went to work today and it was the same....lots of customers on the phone, lots of questions from co-workers, lots of work to do, not enough time, etc. But I decided to be thankful for what I do have.

I've got a great job in a good department that pays well. I have numerous co-workers that I truly enjoy working with. There are only a few that give me the heebie jeebies. My boss is really nice. My staff does their jobs willingly and to the best of their abilities.

My boss' motto is It is what it is. There's really no sense in getting bent out of shape over minor issues in life. Overall, things aren't so bad in my neck of the woods.

Here's a mantra we used to say when I worked in the fish processing plants. Of course, at that time the workers were being sarcastic, but I can state this is true for me right now.

I love my job. I respect my employer. My rate of pay is fair.

I'm taking a lesson from Panda (she's got a little Carribean in her blood) - Singing don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright.

We all have "those" days from time to time. It is good that your have snapped back to the grateful side of work.

This reminds me of what I tell myself every time I have to dust the house. I finally had to start praying about how thankful I am I have so much stuff to dust (around).

I think of that song..."Don't worry, be happy.." Panda has relaxed down to a 't'.
