Along with living in the islands came a love for reggae and calypso music. I'm reminded of many tunes from Gregory Isaac, Peter Tosh and the King of Reggae, Bob Marley and the Wailers. There's nothing like hearing "Singing don' worry 'bout a thing" to take me right back to sandy beaches, clear blue water and sails flapping in the breeze.
Thinking of my former boating life lead me to create these 4 ATC's depicting Sea Critters (3.5" x 2.5") for trade. You can check out my flickr page on the right sidebar to look at more ATC's for trade.
Please forgive my photography skills - I have a hard time taking close-ups without a flash. If the flash is on it leaves a big white spot where the picture is. So I do it on the other setting and then it shows a shaky hand and I have to hold it very still and that is very hard to do. Solution? Get a scanner I think.

Talk about an idyllic life!! Wow. Your ATCs are wonderful and happy. I would like to trade but am so low on my card supply. However, I am working on more this week so will come over when I get them done to trade. Whoohoo!!
As to the question you asked on Friday about whether I painted the daisy first or last; this particular one I painted the daisy first and then the blue sky. I don't always do it this way, just what ever I thing is going to work.
Nice work. But hoe can I get a pic? I don't have art to trade back with.
Yea, I don't have anything to trade either. Love your stuff tho. Wish I was creative...
I swear, you continue to amaze me. You lived in the Caribbean??? Wow - you've really got to write a book about it, after your romance novel of course.
BTW - I have an extra scanner, I sure wished you lived around the corner, you could certainly have it!
Love ya and that's for participating in my Saturday - book report! Hope your headache
is gone!
I didn't know you guys lived in the Caribbean, cool.
Great ATC's! Maybe you should do a picture book with sea animals?
Love your style here! I relate to that photography problem, with the flash vs the shaky hand. You could get a mini tripod for did cams! (they are cheap I think) Scanners are good, but not if the pic is bigger than it. I find my cannon ixus is excellent for photos, but the el cheapo samsung is a nightmare...it is just grief, grief and more grief
These are lovely ATCs. What a shock to go from the Caribbean to the frozen north.
Thanks for visiting my blog. The Caribbean must be a wonderful place to have lived.
I thought there were 5 sisters?
WowZERS!!! Is the second card "sea weedy palmy thingys" spoken for??? Love the color palette here Patty!!!
