You may remember that several weeks ago I created a doodle picture which I called a Zentangle. One of my sisters liked it so much she requested the original. I gave it to her. Another sister
I received in the mail today a mini-quilt of my zentangle design. I am so awed and thankful. Vicki has her own blog site which I check frequently. Through email I've discovered that she used to live in Alaska and since then we have developed a friendship through writing. She may even come to Alaska in the next few years and I will get to meet her in person. Kind of like the 2000 version of pen pals. I can't wait to meet her in person - it's not every day you meet such kind, generous, good people.
The back is inscribed with "Patty's Zentangle" has my name, her name and "Presented in celebration of doodling, April 2009."

That quilt is so totally, completely awesome!! I love it. That's so neato to make new, good friends thru the web. I'll check out her site.
BTW...I got your original doodle hanging in my cubical, all framed and everything. I gets lots of looks/compliments on it...of course I tell 'em that my talented sister did it. oh Kris...no disrespect to you of course. You got plenty other different talents!!
That is so neat that she did that for you. She must be very kind. I would not have done all that work and then turn around and give it away!
